A Grain Of Sand Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGHGH IJIJDIDI

If starry space no limit knowsA
And sun succeeds to sunB
There is no reason to supposeA
Our earth the only oneB
'Mid countless constellations castC
A million worlds may beD
With each a God to bless or blastC
And steer to destinyD
-
Just think A million gods or soE
To guide each vital streamF
With over all to boss the showE
A Deity supremeF
Such magnitudes oppress my mindG
From cosmic space it swingsH
So ultimately glad to findG
Relief in little thingsH
-
For look Within my hollow handI
While round the earth careensJ
I hold a single grain of sandI
And wonder what it meansJ
Ah If I had the eyes to seeD
And brain to understandI
I think Life's mystery might beD
Solved in this grain of sandI
