A Busy Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACAC ABABDEFE GHGHIBIB

This crowded life of God's good givingA
No man has relished more than IB
I've been so goldarned busy livingA
I've never had the time to dieB
So busy fishing hunting rovingA
Up on my toes and fighting fitC
So busy singing laughing lovingA
I've never had the time to quitC
-
I've never been one for thinkingA
I've always been the action guyB
I've done my share of feasting drinkingA
And lots of wenching on the slyB
What all the blasted cosmic show meantD
I've never tried to understandE
I've always lived just for the momentF
And done the thing that came to handE
-
And now I'll toddle to the gardenG
And light a good old Henry ClayH
I'm ninety odd so Lord please pardonG
My frequent lapses by the wayH
I'm getting tired the sunset lingersI
The evening star serenes the skyB
The damn cigar burns to my fingersI
I guess I'll take time off to dieB
