To Speak Of Woe That Is In Marriage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DDEEFFGGHHIIJ

'It is the future generation that presses into being by means ofA
these exuberant feelings and supersensible soap bubbles of ours 'B
SchopenhauerC
-
'The hot night makes us keep our bedroom windows openD
Our magnolia blossoms Life begins to happenD
My hopped up husband drops his home disputesE
and hits the streets to cruise for prostitutesE
free lancing out along the razor's edgeF
This screwball might kill his wife then take the pledgeF
Oh the monotonous meanness of his lustG
It's the injustice he is so unjustG
whiskey blind swaggering home at fiveH
My only thought is how to keep aliveH
What makes him tick Each night now I tieI
ten dollars and his car key to my thighI
Gored by the climacteric of his wantJ
he stalls above me like an elephant '-
