"to Speak Of Woe That Is In Marriage" Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGH

The hot night makes us keep our bedroom windows openA
Our magnolia blossoms Life begins to happenA
My hopped up husband drops his home disputesB
and hits the streets to cruise for prostitutesB
free lancing out along the razor's edgeC
This screwball might kill his wife then take the pledgeC
Oh the monotonous meanness of his lustD
It's the injustice he is so unjustD
whiskey blind swaggering home at fiveE
My only thought is how to keep aliveE
What makes him tick Each night now I tieF
ten dollars and his car key to my thighF
Gored by the climacteric of his wantG
he stalls above me like an elephantH
