Identification In Belfast Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBDEFGBBHIAI

I R A BombingA
-
The British Army now carries two riflesB
one with rubber rabbit pellets for childrenC
the other's of course for the ProvisionalsB
'When they first showed me the boy I thought oh goodD
it's not him because he's blondeE
I imagine his hair was singed dark by the bombF
He had nothing on him to identify himG
except this box of joke trick matchesB
he liked to have them on him even at massB
The police were unhurried and wonderfulH
they let me go on trying to strike a matchI
I just wouldn't stop you cling to anythingA
I couldn't believe I couldn't light one matchI
only joke matches Then I knew he was Richard '-
