Dolphin Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGEHIJKCL M

My Dolphin you only guide me by surpriseA
a captive as Racine the man of craftB
drawn through his maze of iron compositionC
by the incomparable wandering voice of Ph dreD
When I was troubled in mind you made for my bodyE
caught in its hangman's knot of sinking linesF
the glassy bowing and scraping of my willG
I have sat and listened to too manyE
words of the collaborating museH
and plotted perhaps too freely with my lifeI
not avoiding injury to othersJ
not avoiding injury to myselfK
to ask compassion this book half fictionC
an eelnet made by man for the eel fightingL
-
my eyes have seen what my hand didM
