To All That Love The Far And Blue Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDCDC EFEFGHGH HAHAIAIA

TO all that love the far and blueA
Whether from dawn to eve on footB
The fleeing corners ye pursueA
Nor weary of the vain pursuitC
Or whether down the singing streamD
Paddle in hand jocund ye shootC
To splash beside the splashing breamD
Or anchor by the willow rootC
-
Or bolder from the narrow shoreE
Put forth that cedar ark to steerF
Among the seabirds and the roarE
Of the great sea profound and clearF
Or lastly if in heart ye roamG
Not caring to do else and hearH
Safe sitting by the fire at homeG
Footfalls in Utah or PamereH
-
Though long the way though hard to bearH
The sun and rain the dust and dewA
Though still attainment and despairH
Inter the old despoil the newA
There shall at length be sure O friendsI
Howe'er ye steer whate'er ye doA
At length and at the end of endsI
The golden city come in viewA
