Sonnet Vii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDCEFGEFG

The strong man's hand the snow cool head of ageA
The certain footed sympathies of youthB
These and that lofty passion after truthB
Hunger unsatisfied in priest or sageA
Or the great men of former years he needsC
That not unworthily would dare to singD
Hard task black care's inevitable ringD
Settling with years upon the heart that feedsC
Incessantly on glory Year by yearE
The narrowing toil grows closer round his feetF
With disenchanting touch rude handed timeG
The unlovely web discloses and strange fearE
Leads him at last to eld's inclement seatF
The bitter north of life a frozen climeG
