Shadow March Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE FGFG

All around the house is the jet black nightA
It stares through the window paneB
It crawls in the corners hiding from the lightA
And it moves with the moving flameC
-
Now my little heart goes a beating like a drumD
With the breath of the Bogies in my hairE
And all around the candle and the crooked shadows comeD
And go marching along up the stairE
-
The shadow of the balusters the shadow of the lampF
The shadow of the child that goes to bedG
All the wicked shadows coming tramp tramp trampF
With the black night overheadG
