Upon Roses Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFFGG

Under a lawn than skies more clearA
Some ruffled roses nestling wereB
And snugging there they seem'd to lieC
As in a flowery nunneryD
They blush'd and look'd more fresh than flowersE
Quicken'd of late by pearly showersE
And all because they were possess'dF
But of the heat of Julia's breastF
Which as a warm and moisten'd springG
Gave them their ever flourishingG
