Upon A Lady That Died In Child-bed, And Left A Daughter Behind Her Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABBCCDDEE

As gilliflowers do but stayA
To blow and seed and so awayA
So you sweet lady sweet as MayA
The garden's glory lived a whileB
To lend the world your scent and smileB
But when your own fair print was setC
Once in a virgin flosculetC
Sweet as yourself and newly blownD
To give that life resigned your ownD
But so as still the mother's powerE
Lives in the pretty lady flowerE
