To The Willow-tree Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBB BCBC DEDE BBBB

Thou art to all lost love the bestA
The only true plant foundB
Wherewith young men and maids distrestB
And left of love are crown'dB
-
When once the lover's rose is deadB
Or laid aside forlornC
Then willow garlands 'bout the headB
Bedew'd with tears are wornC
-
When with neglect the lovers' baneD
Poor maids rewarded beE
For their love lost their only gainD
Is but a wreath from theeE
-
And underneath thy cooling shadeB
When weary of the lightB
The love spent youth and love sick maidB
Come to weep out the nightB
