To The Most Virtuous Mistress Pot, Who Many Times Entertained Him Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFF

When I through all my many poems lookA
And see yourself to beautify my bookA
Methinks that only lustre doth appearB
A light fulfilling all the region hereC
Gild still with flames this firmament and beD
A lamp eternal to my poetryD
Which if it now or shall hereafter shineE
'Twas by your splendour lady not by mineE
The oil was yours and that I owe for yetF
He pays the half who does confess the debtF
