To The King, Upon His Coming With His Army Into The West Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFF

Welcome most welcome to our vows and usA
Most great and universal geniusA
The drooping West which hitherto has stoodB
As one in long lamented widowhoodB
Looks like a bride now or a bed of flowersC
Newly refresh'd both by the sun and showersC
War which before was horrid now appearsD
Lovely in you brave prince of cavaliersD
A deal of courage in each bosom springsE
By your access O you the best of kingsE
Ride on with all white omens so that whereF
Your standard's up we fix a conquest thereF
