To His Honoured Kinsman, Sir William Soame. Epig Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFF

I can but name thee and methinks I callA
All that have been or are canonicalB
For love and bounty to come near and seeC
Their many virtues volum'd up in theeC
In thee brave man whose incorrupted fameD
Casts forth a light like to a virgin flameD
And as it shines it throws a scent aboutE
As when a rainbow in perfumes goes outE
So vanish hence but leave a name as sweetF
As benjamin and storax when they meetF
