To Groves Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFFGGHHIIJJKKLL MMMNNOOMM

Ye silent shades whose each tree hereA
Some relique of a saint doth wearB
Who for some sweet heart's sake did proveC
The fire and martyrdom of LoveD
Here is the legend of those saintsE
That died for love and their complaintsE
Their wounded hearts and names we findF
Encarved upon the leaves and rindF
Give way give way to me who comeG
Scorch'd with the self same martyrdomG
And have deserved as much Love knowsH
As to be canonized 'mongst thoseH
Whose deeds and deaths here written areI
Within your Greeny kalendarI
By all those virgins' fillets hungJ
Upon your boughs and requiems sungJ
For saints and souls departed henceK
Here honour'd still with frankincenseK
By all those tears that have been shedL
As a drink offering to the deadL
By all those true love knots that beM
With mottoes carved on every treeM
By sweet Saint Phillis pity meM
By dear Saint Iphis and the restN
Of all those other saints now blestN
Me me forsaken here admitO
Among your myrtles to be writO
That my poor name may have the gloryM
To live remember'd in your storyM
