To Anthea Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDDA

If dear Anthea my hard fate it beA
To live some few sad hours after theeA
Thy sacred corse with odours I will burnB
And with my laurel crown thy golden urnB
Then holding up there such religious thingsC
As were time past thy holy filletingsC
Near to thy reverend pitcher I will fallD
Down dead for grief and end my woes withalD
So three in one small plot of ground shall lieD
Anthea Herrick and his poetryA
