Orpheus Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEEFDGG

Orpheus he went as poets tellA
To fetch Eurydice from hellA
And had her but it was uponB
This short but strict conditionC
Backward he should not look while heD
Led her through hell's obscurityD
But ah it happen'd as he madeE
His passage through that dreadful shadeE
Revolve he did his loving eyeF
For gentle fear or jealousyD
And looking back that look did severG
Him and Eurydice for everG
