His Tears To Thamesis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEEEEFFGHIIAAJJ AAKKHH

I send I send here my supremest kissA
To thee my silver footed ThamesisA
No more shall I reiterate thy StrandB
Whereon so many stately structures standB
Nor in the summer's sweeter evenings goC
To bathe in thee as thousand others doD
No more shall I along thy crystal glideE
In barge with boughs and rushes beautifi'dE
With soft smooth virgins for our chaste disportE
To Richmond Kingston and to Hampton CourtE
Never again shall I with finny oarF
Put from or draw unto the faithful shoreF
And landing here or safely landing thereG
Make way to my beloved WestminsterH
Or to the golden Cheapside where the earthI
Of Julia Herrick gave to me my birthI
May all clean nymphs and curious water damesA
With swan like state float up and down thy streamsA
No drought upon thy wanton waters fallJ
To make them lean and languishing at allJ
No ruffling winds come hither to diseaseA
Thy pure and silver wristed NaiadesA
Keep up your state ye streams and as ye springK
Never make sick your banks by surfeitingK
Grow young with tides and though I see ye neverH
Receive this vow so fare ye well for everH
