His Creed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDEEFGHHGGII

I do believe that die I mustA
And be return'd from out my dustA
I do believe that when I riseB
Christ I shall see with these same eyesB
I do believe that I must comeC
With others to the dreadful doomD
I do believe the bad must goE
From thence to everlasting woeE
I do believe the good and IF
Shall live with Him eternallyG
I do believe I shall inheritH
Heaven by Christ's mercies not my meritH
I do believe the One in ThreeG
And Three in perfect unityG
Lastly that JESUS is a deedI
Of gift from God and here's my creedI
