His Covenant Or Protestation To Julia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBBCCDDEEFF

Why dost thou wound and break my heartA
As if we should for ever partA
Hast thou not heard an oath from meB
After a day or two or threeB
I would come back and live with theeB
Take if thou dost distrust that vowC
This second protestation nowC
Upon thy cheek that spangled tearD
Which sits as dew of roses thereD
That tear shall scarce be dried beforeE
I'll kiss the threshold of thy doorE
Then weep not Sweet but thus much knowF
I'm half returned before I goF
