The Master Speed Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

No speed of wind or water rushing byA
But you have speed far greater You can climbB
Back up a stream of radiance to the skyA
And back through history up the stream of timeB
And you were given this swiftness not for hasteC
Nor chiefly that you may go where you willD
But in the rush of everything to wasteC
That you may have the power of standing stillD
Off any still or moving thing you sayE
Two such as you with such a master speedF
Cannot be parted nor be swept awayE
From one another once you are agreedF
That life is only life forevermoreG
Together wing to wing and oar to oarG
