Revelation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FGFG

We make ourselves a place apartA
Behind light words that tease and floutB
But oh the agitated heartA
Till someone find us really outB
-
'Tis pity if the case requireC
Or so we say that in the endD
We speak the literal to inspireE
The understanding of a friendD
-
But so with all from babes that playF
At hide and seek to God afarG
So all who hide too well awayF
Must speak and tell us where they areG
