My Butterfly Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBBD EFEFGHIJJG KLBK MNOM OPQQP BRRSTTS TUUVV WCWOO

Thine emulous fond flowers are dead tooA
And the daft sun assaulter heB
That frightened thee so oft is fled or deadC
Save only meB
Nor is it sad to theeB
Save only meB
There is none left to mourn thee in the fieldsD
-
The gray grass is scarce dappled with the snowE
Its two banks have not shut upon the riverF
But it is long agoE
It seems foreverF
Since first I saw thee glanceG
WIth all thy dazzling other onesH
In airy dallianceI
Precipitate in loveJ
Tossed tangled whirled and whirled aboveJ
Like a linp rose wreath in a fairy danceG
-
When that was the soft mistK
Of my regret hung not on all the landL
And I was glad for theeB
And glad for me I wistK
-
Thou didst not know who tottered wandering on highM
That fate had made thee for the pleasure of the windN
With those great careless wingsO
Nor yet did IM
-
And there were othe rthingsO
It seemed God let thee flutter from his gentle claspP
Then fearful he had let thee winQ
Too far beyond him to be gathered inQ
Santched thee o'ereager with ungentle gaspP
-
Ah I remember meB
How once conspiracy was rifeR
Against my lifeR
The languor of it and the dreaming fondS
Surging the grasses dizzied me of thoughtT
The breeze three odors broughtT
And a gem flower waved in a wandS
-
Then when I was distraughtT
And could not speakU
Sidelong full on my cheekU
What should that reckless zephyr flingV
But the wild touch of thy dye dusty wingV
-
I found that wing broken todayW
For thou art dead I saidC
And the strang birds sayW
I found it with the withered leavesO
Under the eavesO
