A Dream Pang Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAACCA DEDEFF

I had withdrawn in forest and my songA
Was swallowed up in leaves that blew alwayB
And to the forest edge you came one dayC
This was my dream and looked and pondered longA
But did not enter though the wish was strongA
You shook your pensive head as who should sayC
'I dare not too far in his footsteps strayC
He must seek me would he undo the wrongA
-
Not far but near I stood and saw it allD
Behind low boughs the trees let down outsideE
And the sweet pang it cost me not to callD
And tell you that I saw does still abideE
But 'tis not true that thus I dwelt aloofF
For the wood wakes and you are here for proofF
