A Cliff Dwelling Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDBEDFECCF

There sandy seems the golden skyA
And golden seems the sandy plainB
No habitation meets the eyeA
Unless in the horizon rimC
Some halfway up the limestone wallD
That spot of black is not a stainB
Or shadow but a cavern holeE
Where someone used to climb and crawlD
To rest from his besetting fearsF
I see the callus on his soulE
The disappearing last of himC
And of his race starvation slimC
Oh years ago ten thousand yearsF
