Thought. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHDIJKLMNOPQLHow mystical is thought We do but think | A |
Be it of heaven or hell and we are there | B |
Such feet has phantasy more fleet than light | C |
We flash ourselves away where'er we will | D |
And in a wink return we know not how | E |
It is our Genius haply makes it all | F |
The vision of the things we seem to see | G |
Which yet are not or were not had we not | H |
The miracle of thought within us still | D |
Like Love's begetting making all things new | I |
And still unmaking all we have done with | J |
So with creative joy as in a dream | K |
Folding us in ourselves as if it were | L |
Who are still one with all that we have made | M |
Revisioning the mystic entities | N |
As each one reads as with undying eyes | O |
The hyacinthine wonder of the soul | P |
As if alone in an enchanted isle | Q |
On the meridian of his own desire | L |
