Spring. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAIJKLAJDEMNO

'Let the light rain on her the sweet Spring tillA
She teems with greenery in the warm airB
Flower hued and vocal with the tender joyC
Of bleating lambs and young birds on the wing 'D
Thus on the cold hill doth the herdsman prayE
Beneath his frozen star the milkmaid tooF
As her raw hands take up the milking pailG
And the wind freezes in the red dawn nearH
'Come Spring earth's sap and mount in me untilA
I bloom a rose of love smile in mine eyesI
Till my love from his wintry hill shall seeJ
The star of youth and leap into my armsK
O Spring sweet Spring but hear my prayer and IL
Shall build thee bowers of roses on the hillA
And all the summer there with bird and beeJ
Shall joy feast in the beauty of our love 'D
Thus do they chant the wintry time awayE
In hill and vale the two who look to whenM
The warmth of beauty takes life's wonder onN
And the rose of the flesh shall bloom for themO
