Post Mortem. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFEGHHHHIA| When I have passed the bourne of ear and eye | A |
| And thou my whereabouts no more canst tell | B |
| When all I am is but a phantasy | C |
| Seen in thy heart to none else visible | D |
| When haply slow time shall have faded then | E |
| And thee too brought to thy departure here | F |
| But call me in the spirit and again | E |
| My soul that was thy mate shall answer dear | G |
| Then from the confines of that shadowy clime | H |
| As in a visionary light I'll come | H |
| To where within the fading fields of time | H |
| Thy soul waits mine with whom to journey home | H |
| Till with thy hand in mine we take our way | I |
| Where all that we have been is ours for aye | A |
