Mutation. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDCEFGHI

The peaceful years and then the stormy timeA
When the perturbed Earth moans and Death himselfB
Seems ready to seize all his prey 'to smiteC
Once and to smite no more ' Not yet the endC
And still the labour of the God goes onD
Time sows and reaps and men are born and dieC
Moons wax and wane and all is changing stillE
As in the dream of some mysterious PowerF
A dream of joy and woe obscure as lifeG
That vagrant melody still lapsing downH
The aeons to our doomI
