Men And Women. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI

It is not that I love you nay and yetA
Had I a lover he would have your eyesB
Your lips and be in all like you Sir seeC
This is a rose the winds have harried OhD
Here is a violet marred a lily thereE
Poor girls their love or lover was too cruelF
And we are like them we you men call flowersG
We too like these are hurt with love and lieH
On the sweet earth so forsakenI
