Love's Bower. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBABCCBDDEFEFGHHGDD

On the white bosom 'tween the breastsA
Of Helen Love has made his bowerB
As in a sweet and secret towerB
Where mid the world's decay he restsA
A bridegroom in his dream's desireB
With the imperial bride whose browC
Is great with beauty nowC
Whose eyes have the old fireB
That in their passion's joyD
Burnt to a cinder on the towers of TroyD
All youths and virgins may go thereE
And thence their hearts as torches lightF
Fragrant and fresh as new born airE
In the old world's serenest mightF
May learn from Love and his warm mateG
The secret of the tender tuneH
Of that long honeymoonH
That like the fire of FateG
Still in their passion's joyD
Burns to a cinder on the towers of TroyD
