Loss. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH

She gave the day its heart of fireA
She gave the night her soul of flameB
The sun and moon translated throughC
Her love as gods becameB
She filled me with unearthly strengthD
A power not of my own was mineE
She passed and crumbled into dustF
And ashes my divineE
The Night knows not how fair she isG
Before the stars come in the skyH
It is the light within ourselvesI
We see ourselves and others byH
