Life And Death. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAI| We come like bats that out of a dark cave | A |
| Have suddenly been scared into the day | B |
| Blear eyed and vexed as here and there they flap | C |
| Unnatural denizens of such a world | D |
| So seem we all as this were not our home | E |
| And we as aliens in these elements | F |
| Move here and there purblind heart weary and | G |
| Possessed with many fears till Death's new dark | H |
| Shows us our passage back to the old cave | A |
| Whence Birth before may have affrighted us | I |
