Inspiration. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIHJKLKMNON JPQP

There's a wind that sweeps through the day and nightA
And like the lightning goesB
But none have heard the sound of its wingsC
And none know whither it blowsB
But where'er it comes the thoughts of menD
Are like clouds together hurledE
As they are carried with mystic speedF
Over the crazy worldE
We see no waving of leafy boughsG
Nor heave of the purple seaH
When this wind its fiercest blows the EarthI
May be still as the dead men beH
But the spirit feels its fiery breathJ
And the souls of men are stirr'dK
As o'er the mesmeric lines of lifeL
Is flashed the magic wordK
The gale from the Spirit land blows inM
And they who feel it glowN
With an ecstasy and ardour likeO
The seers of long agoN
The vital and inspiring breathJ
With which ideas are sownP
Like visioned seeds in the mystic soilQ
Where the spirit flowers are grownP
