Her Face. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: AABCBDEEFGFGHHIBIBThere is a something in her face | A |
Which in no other I can trace | A |
And feelings sweet as music stir | B |
When I gaze in her dreamy eyes | C |
And breathe a perfume as it were | B |
From flowers in Paradise | D |
At morn at noon and night it seems | E |
As if I moved by faery streams | E |
A strange light on the leaves and grass | F |
As if her life breath were the air | G |
Through which the magic moments pass | F |
In her dream beauty there | G |
It is thought's paradise which she | H |
Inhabits like a mystery | H |
Through which my feelings come and go | I |
Like tunes which to her pulses stir | B |
And my life day by day I trow | I |
Is one sweet dream of her | B |
