Dream-death Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCDEFEGG

There is a breath at midnight that comes inA
Sad as a sigh for then the day is deadB
And the young morrow doth his course beginA
Sowing new dreams in many a dreamer's headB
And there are two have waked in one dark bedB
Just as the last stroke fades in lonely airC
And having whispered half awake have spedB
With silent feet into sleep's poppied lairC
She with the morning wakes but he is goneD
Her tears and kisses are of no availE
Perchance it was his good bye murmured onF
The midnight in death's visionary daleE
Ah woe she thought 'twas in sleep's fairylandG
When in the dark he pressed her warm soft handG
