Cheery Old Age. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJK

The old man is not miserable nay cheeryA
For such a grey old fellow Life's still goodB
And he at many points is yet in touchC
With the material and what if nowD
He has not the old energy to slingE
The passion of his nature off he canF
Beat many a fancy from its ambush teaseG
A knotty problem with the best in fineH
Go up and down the thoroughfares of thoughtI
And nobly don a holiday attireJ
To suit the seasonK
