Cheery Old Age. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKThe old man is not miserable nay cheery | A |
For such a grey old fellow Life's still good | B |
And he at many points is yet in touch | C |
With the material and what if now | D |
He has not the old energy to sling | E |
The passion of his nature off he can | F |
Beat many a fancy from its ambush tease | G |
A knotty problem with the best in fine | H |
Go up and down the thoroughfares of thought | I |
And nobly don a holiday attire | J |
To suit the season | K |
