At The Last. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDEFGFHIJJIKLLK MNMNOPPOQRRQSTSTULLU VWWXYZYZ

The sky grows white with the moonA
And the sea yearns up to the nightB
As the soul to an unknown heightB
Drawn thence by a starry runeA
Only a lost wind straysC
Like the breath of Passion blownD
In the vault of the night unknownD
And the heart in me sobs and saysE
'After a while we tooF
Shall rest as the stars aboveG
When we have no more to doF
With the dream of life and love 'H
O Time thy feet that runI
Over the hills and wavesJ
Over the cradles and gravesJ
From the first to the final sunI
Some day thou too shalt ceaseK
Some way there'll come to theeL
Death's white tranquilityL
The boon of an awful peaceK
When the latest grief shall flowM
With the surge that drifts awayN
And the Night shall no more goM
In her endless chase of DayN
Then shall the worn heart restO
Then shall the sad Sea yearnP
No more for the Moon's returnP
Like a bird on its frozen nestO
Dead with her young ones deadQ
Under her breast on the boughR
Where nothing can wake them nowR
Not the Dawn with its golden treadQ
Where Death has been good to allS
Good to the mother and youngT
And the dreams are beyond recallS
And the songs have all been sungT
So at the last to sleepU
So at the last to beL
Still as the dead still seaL
Never to wake and weepU
Never to know Love's painV
Never to yearn on forW
What is gone for evermoreW
To be as we were againX
Ere we came o'er the bourne of birthY
Ere we knew of the fading flowersZ
Of love and of life on EarthY
And the hearts that were not oursZ
