| It was as if a faery power | C |
| Had charmed her with its mood | F |
| And graced her with the dreamy dower | G |
| Of earthly angelhood | F |
| And when Death touched her starry brow | H |
| It seemed as if it were | C |
| The dream she was became somehow | H |
