Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDAAEEFG H

Thine be the volumes Jessy fairA
And with them take the Poet's prayerA
That fate may in her fairest pageB
With every kindliest best presageC
Of future bliss enrol thy nameD
With native worth and spotless fameD
And wakeful caution still awareA
Of ill but chief man's felon snareA
All blameless joys on earth we findE
And all the treasures of the mindE
These be thy guardian and rewardF
So prays thy faithful friend The BardG
