Song-the Gallant Weaver Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABCCCB DDDBEEEB

WHERE Cart rins rowin' to the seaA
By mony a flower and spreading treeA
There lives a lad the lad for meA
He is a gallant WeaverB
O I had wooers aught or nineC
They gied me rings and ribbons fineC
And I was fear'd my heart wad tineC
And I gied it to the WeaverB
-
-
My daddie sign'd my tocher bandD
To gie the lad that has the landD
But to my heart I'll add my handD
And give it to the WeaverB
While birds rejoice in leafy bowersE
While bees delight in opening flowersE
While corn grows green in summer showersE
I love my gallant WeaverB
