Raving Winds Around Her Blowing. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBBBCCDD BBEEBBFF

Tune Macgregor of Rura's LamentA
-
-
I-
-
Raving winds around her blowingB
Yellow leaves the woodlands strowingB
By a river hoarsely roaringB
Isabella stray'd deploringB
Farewell hours that late did measureC
Sunshine days of joy and pleasureC
Hail thou gloomy night of sorrowD
Cheerless night that knows no morrowD
-
II-
-
O'er the past too fondly wanderingB
On the hopeless future ponderingB
Chilly grief my life blood freezesE
Fell despair my fancy seizesE
Life thou soul of every blessingB
Load to misery most distressingB
Gladly how would I resign theeF
And to dark oblivion join theeF
