My Bonie Bell Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBADAD EFEFADAD

THE SMILING Spring comes in rejoicingA
And surly Winter grimly fliesB
Now crystal clear are the falling watersC
And bonie blue are the sunny skiesB
Fresh o'er the mountains breaks forth the morningA
The ev'ning gilds the ocean's swellD
All creatures joy in the sun's returningA
And I rejoice in my bonie BellD
-
-
The flowery Spring leads sunny SummerE
The yellow Autumn presses nearF
Then in his turn comes gloomy WinterE
Till smiling Spring again appearF
Thus seasons dancing life advancingA
Old Time and Nature their changes tellD
But never ranging still unchangingA
I adore my bonie BellD
