Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGDGD HIHIJDKD

Fareweel to a' our Scottish fameA
Fareweel our ancient gloryB
Fareweel ev'n to the Scottish nameA
Sae famed in martial storyB
Now Sark rins over Solway sandsC
And Tweed rins to the oceanD
To mark where England's province standsC
Such a parcel of rogues in a nationD
-
What force or guile could not subdueE
Thro' many warlike agesF
Is wrought now by a coward fewE
For hireling traitor's wagesF
The English steel we could disdainG
Secure in valour's stationD
But English gold has been our baneG
Such a parcel of rogues in a nationD
-
O would or I had seen the dayH
That treason thus could sell usI
My auld grey head had lien in clayH
Wi' Bruce and loyal WallaceI
But pith and power till my last hourJ
I'll mak this declarationD
We're bought and sold for English goldK
Such a parcel of rogues in a nationD
