Why I Am A Liberal Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CBCDCD

Why Because all I haply can and doA
All that I am now all I hope to beB
Whence comes it save from fortune setting freeB
Body and soul the purpose to pursueA
God traced for both If fetters not a fewA
Of prejudice convention fall from meB
These shall I bid men each in his degreeB
Also God guided bear and gayly tooA
-
But little do or can the best of usC
That little is achieved through LibertyB
Who then dares hold emancipated thusC
His fellow shall continue bound Not ID
Who live love labour freely nor discussC
A brother's right to freedom That is WhyD
