Sonnet - Dramatis Personæ Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCADEFGEFA

Eyes calm beside thee Lady could'st thou knowA
May turn away thick with fast gathering tearsB
I glance not where all gaze thrilling and lowA
Their passionate praises reach thee my cheek wearsB
Alone no wonder when thou passest byC
Thy tremulous lids bent and suffused replyC
To the irrepressible homage which doth glowA
On every lip but mine if in thine earsD
Their accents linger and thou dost recallE
Me as I stood still guarded very paleF
Beside each votarist whose lighted browG
Wore worship like an aureole O'er them allE
My beauty thou wilt murmur did prevailF
Save that one only Lady could'st thou knowA
