Meeting At Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDA EFGGFE

The grey sea and the long black landA
And the yellow half moon large and lowB
And the startled little waves that leapC
In fiery ringlets from their sleepC
As I gain the cove with pushing prowD
And quench its speed i' the slushy sandA
-
Then a mile of warm sea scented beachE
Three fields to cross till a farm appearsF
A tap at the pane the quick sharp scratchG
And blue spurt of a lighted matchG
And a voice less loud through its joys and fearsF
Than the two hearts beating each to eachE
