Life In A Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFDGHHI JKLKMNMNABO

Escape meA
NeverB
BelovedC
While I am I and you are youD
So long as the world contains us bothE
Me the loving and you the lothF
While the one eludes must the other pursueD
My life is a fault at last I fearG
It seems too much like a fate indeedH
Though I do my best I shall scarce succeedH
But what if I fail of my purpose hereI
-
It is but to keep the nerves at strainJ
To dry one's eyes and laugh at a fallK
And baffled get up to begin againL
So the chase takes up one's life that's allK
While look but once from your farthest boundM
At me so deep in the dust and darkN
No sooner the old hope drops to groundM
Than a new one straight to the selfsame markN
I shape meA
EverB
