Young Love Viii - Orbits Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCB DCDCEC

Two stars once on their lonely wayA
Met in the heavenly heightB
And they dreamed a dream they might shine alwayA
With undivided lightB
Melt into one with a breathless throeC
And beam as one in the nightB
-
And each forgot in the dream so strangeD
How desolately farC
Swept on each path for who shall changeD
The orbit of a starC
Yea all was a dream and they still must goE
As lonely as they areC
